This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for a charming antique manor house setting. The attention to detail is evident throughout, with a conservatory that was supposedly brought over from Kew Gardens in the 1980s. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, and the basic amenities are all there, including rooms with large bathrooms featuring a tub. The breakfast is also a highlight, ensuring a good start to the day.
The only area for improvement would be the difficulty in accessing public transport or the expensive taxi fares, making it a bit inconvenient to explore the Limoni area.

The staff were very attentive and the hotel very clean, however, I was very disappointed in the location, right next to a busy road, and think that the 5 star rating is excessive - 3 would be fairer.
The swimming pool was empty and the gardens untidy, so not suitable for sitting outside, which was my reason for choosing it, also the noisy road was off putting.

Thr grounds & hotel are beautiful but you really need a car to get around (we did not).
The air conditioning did not work and they made a minor adjustment in consideration

The Resort Dei Limoni Lucca is truly a hidden gem. The hotel's stunning garden and inviting swimming pool provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The rooms are elegantly decorated, with quirky touches that add to the overall charm. The attentive and friendly staff make you feel like you're staying with friends rather than at a hotel. Additionally, the location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful cities like Pisa and Florence.
All aspects of our stay at this hotel were excellent.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the friendly staff who greeted us warmly. We also enjoyed the lovely gardens and peaceful surroundings. It was convenient to have a bus service in the area, and the nearby coffee shop was a nice touch.
On the other hand, we found the rooms to be outdated with uncomfortable beds. the breakfast was subpar, and the restaurant lacked atmosphere.

The hotel offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. The pool and garden were lovely amenities to enjoy. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the light lunches served outdoors were a nice option.
The hotel's interior decor and furnishings were quite dated, giving a slightly frumpy feel. There was a musty smell in the rooms and common areas, indicating a need for better maintenance and upkeep.

The offer of tea as it was raining outside. Their restaurant was closed for the season so I was captive without a car and 7 miles outside of the closest town, so it was great to have tea and it was complimentary. Since we had no car and weren't told that there was no restaurant open, the wonderful caretaker servedmy husband and I some cold cuts, cheese, and wine in the cozy sitting room as a substitute for a real dinner. It was actually quite pleasant and it was warm and antiquey in the sitting room. The shower head and the water pressure made the hot shower really enjoyable.
The websiste did not state that the restaurant was closed from November 1 to March 1 so we had no meal options. The taxi from Lucca to Locanda L'Elisa was expensive, and we certainly didn't want to spend it again two times that night to go into town to have a dinner. Also the bed was the worst for comfort I have ever slept in. It was hard as a rock. The room was so elegant, the the furnishing so castle like, that I expected a nice bed like the "Heavenly Bed" at the Excelsior in Florence where we stayed for four nights prior to coming to Lucca and Locanda L'Elisa Hotel. There was also a dead cockroach in the fabric which upholstered the ceiling in the bathroom. Bad lighting - no bulb above sink. No light for reading in the sitting room.

We stayed at a charming hotel with a beautiful conservatory, which we were told had come from Kew Gardens in the 1980s. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the staff were always prompt in getting us to the bus stop on time. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the surrounding gardens. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable, with fresh pastries and excellent coffee. the hotel had a unique ambience, set in such an antique manor house.
The lack of dinner options nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and treated us very well. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the beautiful garden setting around the pool. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Additionally, the location was convenient for traveling to nearby cities like Lucca and Pisa, whether by private or public transport.
Nothing to be said.
